Vigor’s Training Advantage Program (TAP)

Do you have what it takes for a new and exciting career in clinical research?

For Clinical Research Associates (CRAs)

Effective and relevant training plays a vital role in one’s career development. In the Clinical Research Industry, in-depth procedural knowledge, when combined with a ‘can do’ disposition, leads to productive and satisfied team members. Vigor’s Training Advantage Program (TAP) seeks, educates, and delivers qualified professionals emanating from the allied health and scientific employment communities.

Vigor offers its candidates the opportunity to learn, apprentice, and practice the CRA and CRC roles. Through classroom, on-site, and media-based training, Vigor excels at preparing your organization’s next clinical hires for success. As part of TAP, Vigor Graduates develop critical skill sets and leadership competencies. We start with the end goal in mind, which is to prepare tomorrow’s clinical trial leaders.

TAP Training Promotes CRA Readiness

  • To perform site selection, initiation, monitoring and close-out visits
  • To evaluate quality and integrity of study practices related to the protocol and applicable regulations.
  • To ensure sites operate in compliance with Vigor & client SOPs, ICH/GCP guidelines & Federal Regulations.
  • To administer protocol and related study training to assigned sites and establish regular lines of communication.
  • To appropriately document and write comprehensive monitoring reports and effectively manage site assignments
  • To support team management and provide assistance with design of study documents and processes.
  • To act as a mentor for new clinical staff.

“Vigor’s CRA Training program has given me the confidence and tools to succeed in the CRA role. The program included many practical monitoring exercises, one on one instructor attention, and access to mentors with greater than 15 years of clinical research experience.”
